Since much of our business is based on eco-tourism we try to pay back to the environment that supports us. Park Place is a participant in the Florida Department of Transportation Adopt-A-Highway program. We also adopted an osprey through the Florida Audubon Society. The fine folks from this agency stay with us each fall during the Nature Coast Wildlife and Birding Experience along with "Paige", a rescued bald eagle. |
We are also in the process of getting certified as a "Backyard Wildlife Habitat" through the National Wildlife Federation. To that end, everyone who works here has decorated a birdhouse for the parking lot fence. The results were outstanding.
