Cedar Key Seafood Festival, October 16 & 17, 2010
This event takes place in the City Park and all along Second Street every year since 1969! It is held from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM each day. There is a parade on Saturday morning. You can feast on local seafood in the park and shop 'till you drop with over 200 arts and crafts exhibits.
Shuttle boats are available at City Marina for the open house at the Seahorse Key Lighthouse. This weekend is one of only three that the lighthouse is open to the general public.

Cedar Key Arts Festival, April 2 & 3, 2011
Since 1964, the Arts Festival has offered fresh seafood served in the City Park along with booths full of fine art along Second Street. The Festival runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. The art show is juried and prizes are awarded.

10:00 AM until 5:00 PM each day. Booths of fine arts and crafts line both sides of Cedar Key's main street while the local school, civic and church groups prepare and serve seafood and other goodies in the City Park. Musical entertainment too. This is a juried show and prizes will be awarded.

Cedar Key Star Party 2011 (dates to be announced)
The Cedar Key Museum State Park hosts Public Stargazing and Slide Shows. The show is FREE and open to the public.
Light refreshments will be served.
Stargazing Hay rides
Cedar Key Scrub State Reserve will present a ranger and astronomer guided hay ride through Cedar Key Scrub State Reserve for a nighttime glimpse of this natural area, including binocular stargazing and interpretation. Reservations are required and space is limited. This event is free. The hayrides will depart from the Cedar Key Scrub picnic area on SR 24, five miles east of Cedar Key.
